Title: Senior Sales Engineer.
Reports to: Sales Manager
• Identifies, develops and maintains property sales objectives, sales plans, and programs in accordance with the company goals.
• Outside sales calls are a priority in this position.
• Must have a vehicle to use for outside sales calls that is in good condition, insured, and the person must have a current driver’s license.
• (1-3) years Experience in sales for home automation or building automation systems.
Tasks and Competencies:
• Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales opportunities.
• Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
• Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
• Submits orders by referring to price lists and product codes using the company templates.
• Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
• Preparing commercial and technical offers to existing and new customers.
